1. Who We Are

ShareContact is a service operated by Wider Circle. We provide a digital contact card platform that lets you share your contact information via link, QR code, or NFC. Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@widercircle.com.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: phone number or email address used to sign in.
• Profile information: name, job title, company, bio, avatar, and any contact links you add (email, phone, social profiles, websites).
• Contact submissions: name, email, and phone provided by visitors who share their contact with you through your card.
• Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, and device/browser information collected automatically via logs.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the ShareContact service.
• To send you one-time login codes via SMS.
• To display your public profile to people you share your link with.
• To notify you when someone saves your contact or shares theirs with you.
• To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Sharing of Information

Your public profile (name, title, company, bio, contact links) is visible to anyone with your profile link. You control what information is on your card.

We share information with service providers who help us operate the platform (authentication, database hosting, SMS delivery). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. Contact submissions are retained until you delete them. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and a managed database platform with row-level security. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your profile information at any time through the Settings page. To request full account deletion or a copy of your data, contact us at privacy@widercircle.com.

8. Children

ShareContact is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
